Article 20 (Equality before the Law)
Everyone is equal before the law.
ข้อ ๒๑ การไม่เลือกปฏิบัติ

๑. การเลือกปฏิบัติใด ๆ บนพื้นฐานของเหตุแห่งการเลือกปฏิบัติ เช่น เพศ เชื้อชาติ สีผิว ชาติพันธุ์ แหล่ง
ก�าเนิดทางสังคม ลักษณะทางพันธุกรรม ภาษา ศาสนา หรือความเชื่อ ความเห็นทางการเมืองหรือความเห็นอื่น การเป็น
สมาชิกของชนกลุ่มน้อย ทรัพย์สิน ก�าเนิด ความพิการ อายุ หรือรสนิยมทางเพศนั้น ถือเป็นการต้องห้าม

๒. การเลือกปฏิบัติใด ๆ ด้วยเหตุแห่งสัญชาตินั้นถือเป็นการต้องห้าม ทั้งนี้ ภายใต้กรอบแห่งการปรับใช้
สนธิสัญญานี้และโดยปราศจากอคติใด ๆ

Article 21 (Non-Discrimination)
1. Any discrimination based on any ground such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social
origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a

national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation shall be prohibited.
2. Within the scope of application of the Treaties and without prejudice to any of their

specific provisions, any discrimination on grounds of nationality shall be prohibited.

Article 1 Obligation to Respect Rights

1. The States Parties to this Convention undertake to respect the rights and freedoms
recognized herein and to ensure to all persons subject to their jurisdiction the free and full exercise

of those rights and freedoms, without any discrimination for reasons of race, colour, sex, language,
religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, economic status, birth, or any other social
condition.

ข้อ ๒๔ สิทธิในการได้รับความคุ้มครองอย่างเท่าเทียมกัน

บุคคลทุกคนเท่าเทียมกันภายใต้กฎหมาย ดังนั้น จึงมีสิทธิได้รับการคุ้มครองตามกฎหมายเท่าเทียมกันโดย
ปราศจากการเลือกปฏิบัติ
Article 24 Right to Equal Protection

All persons are equal before the law. Consequently, they are entitled, without discrimination,
to equal protection of the law.
