5.5 To terminate the current plan for development in southern Thailand and to create a
new development plan. Any actions that ignore the input and participation of the local populace
and/or that do not have the consent of the local community will be rejected.
5.6 To refuse mandatory government education and to provide the opportunity to
manage their own educational institutions.
On behalf of Thaksin University, we declare our intention to reach new social standards
based upon self-determination of local communities.
