Abstracts
The dialogues are about the development of National Human Rights Commission
of Thailand (NHRCT) as provided in each constitution of Thailand and this is the summary
of Prof. Borwornsak’s expectations on functioning of NHRCT in various dimensions. There
are the preparation of NHRCT after the announcement of a new constitution, by setting up
a committee to prepare a law/Act on the National Human Rights Commission to retrieve
the former powers of NHRCT. A review of the status of the administrative unit that served as
the government organization or independent agencies for the flexibility of the operation.
Setting up the independent expert to inspect the critical facts of the cases and prepare
the report for submission to NHRCT. As well as the importance of complaints, especially
in the justice system, and working with the society and public network, including
the creation of the trust and visibility of NHRCT.
