Alzheimer. She is currently a tutor and works as a full time volunteer
at the Social Equality Promotion Foundation.
Thus, Pana has many responsibilities. One of them is a volunteer
role that involves providing recommendation and counseling about

the litigation process, as well as being the supporter of the victims
without having time and location as limitations. Pana is always willing
to provide help such as accompanying the victims to police stations,
courts, attorney’s office, and Rights and Liberties Protection
Department. She is also a volunteer that coordinates help with the
foundation’s network such as emergency shelters, shelters for children
and families, social service centers, hospitals, and communities in
Bangkok. As a volunteer, she takes the victims to get physical
examination, find accommodation, and meet their children at school.

Moreover, she has to visit the victims’ houses and prisons, as well
as go to the incident location, take photos, and even negotiate with
another party. During the rehabilitation process, they have to monitor
the condition of the victims to motivate them to go through this issue.
These roles support the work of Social Equality Promotion Foundation.
“Our society will be better if the family members are able to
communicate freely, expecially the problems that each member is

facing. We have to portect everyone in the family, take care of each
other, and offer help if they seem different from their normal self. If
we do good and wish for the best, we don’t have to be afraid that
the person may think we are interfering. One day, that person will
understand our good intention.”
Another main aspect to focuses on preventive measure, which
is to educate our children. They have to know what they will encoun-
ter in the future, how to overcome the problems, and how to act or
refuse in order to protect themselves from harm.
