Summary: ภาพยนตร์ดัดแปลงจากนิยายของ ชาร์นุช ปาร์สิปูร์ ซึ่งฉากหลังอยู่ในประเทศอิหร่านช่วงปี 1953 ท่ามกลางเหตุการณ์การรัฐประหาร ความขัดแย้งระหว่างชาติตะวันตกและรัฐบาลอิหร่าน และความผันผวนของการเมือง กลายเป็นหนังสือต้องห้าม ที่ใครมีไว้ครอบครอง จะต้องโดนจับเข้าคุกได้ เนื้อเรื่องกล่าวถึงชีวิตสตรี 4 คน ในช่วงการรัฐประหารปี 1953 ณ กรุงเตหะราน และเพราะความวุ่นวายทางการเมือง ภาพยนตร์จะสะท้อนให้เห็นว่า ผู้หญิง 4 คน 4 สถานะและชนชั้น ต้องประสบกับอุปสรรคอันใดบ้างจากน้ำมือของผู้ชายรอบๆ ตัวเธอ. |
